Abstract

Renewable energy which comes from various resources, such as sunlight, wind, rain, geothermal and biomass has a concept that is in line with the environmentally friendly green energy sector, which is synergized with the National Determine Contribution (NDC) achievements which are targeted to be achieved in 2030. Coal, as a mining sector, is still the main basis for the main supply of electrical energy in the domestic market where South Kalimantan is the 3rd national reserve, with a value of 3.67 billion tons. In relation to the NDC target, PT Banjar Bumi Persada (BBP) and PT Mitra Agro Semesta (MAS) located in Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province, are doing two main things to achieve the Coal to Clean Power synergy; 1) Carbon Capture Storage (CCS) with green financing compensation through community empowerment based on work in accordance with the social and environmental context in the operational area, 2) Development of food agriculture as a form of contribution to climate change mitigation-adaptation as an effort to reduce carbon emissions towards green energy-green economy, 3) Branding strategy in market share through 'mine care life' and 'mine for life' as philosophical values, where mines care for life and mines for life in the form of 'green coal' in market penetration, market development and product development. Likewise in Jambi, which was initiated through a voluntary carbon market as a payment based on performance in order to maintain sustainable forests in the Bujang Raba landscape area, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province.
