Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and find out the development of investment, labor, population, government expenditure and economic growth in Jambi Province. The second is to analyze and find out the influence of investment, labor, population and government expenditure on the economic growth of Jambi Province. The research method used is secondary data analysis with a descriptive analysis method to answer the first objective, looking at the development of investment, labor, population, government expenditure and economic growth in Jambi Province during the period 2010-2023. To analyze the influence of each variable, it was carried out using a multiple linear regression analysis tool with the help of the SPSS 21 software application analysis tool.The results of the analysis concluded, first, that investment development experienced an average increase of 48.09 percent, an average workforce of 2.23 percent, an average population of 1.35 percent and an average government expenditure increased by 12.03 percent in Jambi Province during the 2010-2023 period.  Second, the number of population (X3) partially has a significant effect on the economic growth of Jambi Province, while investment (X1), labor (X2) and government expenditure (X4) do not have a significant effect on the economic growth of Jambi Province. And together investment (X1), labor (X2), population (X3) and government expenditure (X4) have a significant effect on economic growth (Y) in Jambi Province with an R-square value of 98.80 percent during the 2010-2023 period.
