SISTEM TERDISTRIBUSI BERBASIS DATABASE UNTUK PENGELOLAAN PARKIR OTOMATIS SECARA REAL-TIME

Abstract
Parking area management, especially in terms of efficiency, security, and accuracy of vehicle data recording. The manual parking system still used in various places often causes recording errors, long queues, processing delays, data loss, and low vehicle security. This study aims to design and develop a web-based and desktop-based automatic parking application with a structured database design using the Waterfall method. The research stages include needs analysis, system design using UML (Use Case, Activity, and Sequence Diagram), database design using MySQL and MariaDB, implementation using PHP, Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and testing using the Black Box Testing method. The database is designed with interrelated vehicle, transaction, and user tables to maintain data integrity. The test results show that the system is capable of recording incoming and outgoing vehicles, user authentication, automatic tariff calculation, and generating parking reports functionally. This system is proven to improve operational efficiency, speed up administration, reduce human error, and improve data security in a modern parking environment.
