Abstract
Current advances in information technology require educational institutions, particularly Vocational High Schools (SMK), to continuously innovate in managing their supporting facilities. This research aims to strengthen the information technology infrastructure in vocational high schools through the implementation of a client-server-based network architecture. The primary objective is to create a much more organized, efficient, and reliable academic and administrative data governance system. The applied research methodology encompasses several systematic stages, beginning with a comprehensive analysis of hardware and software requirements, followed by the design of an appropriate network topology. Subsequent stages involve the physical installation and configuration of devices, and ultimately, testing and verification of the system's functionality. Through this approach, the server functions as the main control center. This allows for centralization of all user authentication processes, database storage, and the distribution of teaching materials to each client computer.
